Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar seems to be representing her religion more than her constituents again. Omar, who is known for her sheer hatred of everything American, is now taking aim at the Constitution, and in fact, the very soul of our great nation.
She is proposing to remove all references to Christianity from the document that our Christian nation was founded upon. She has the support of all Democrats in Congress and the Senate. They believe that a blue wave will sweep through the country, creating a super-majority that will enable them to turn the United States into some kind of Venezuelan sequel, and not in the good sense like Star Trek 2. More like Slapshot 2. Seriously, don’t even look that movie up.
Representative Omar spoke with Joe Barron about the blasphemous act that she is proposing:
“It’s in Article VII. It says ‘…done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven…’. This is religious favoritism toward Christians and it must be removed.
The rest of the document is good. Those four words need to go.”
The fact that the Democrats are backing this outrageous proposal comes as no surprise. They have long sought to undermine the Constitution by taking away our Second Amendment rights and by trying to protect every man, woman, and child’s right to have unlimited free abortions.
Once again, the only thing standing between total anarchy and law and order is the Republican party. This nation cannot afford to continue its slide toward radical lefticisms any more. We can start by voting Omar, Pelosi, Romney, and the rest of the Democrats out this November!
