AOC Wants Fewer Police ‘So We Can Be Safer’

 The latest bit of crazy from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has arrived.

Citing the feelings and opinions of those in her district and pointing to recent incidents of criminals dying at the hands of police, AOC is calling for a reduction in the numbers of police officers on our streets …….in order to make the public safer.

This flies in the face of logic, of course. Police are the ones responsible for our safety. Greater numbers equal greater safety. Our boys in blue are all flawless individuals who are dedicated to upholding the law and protecting the citizenry. To suggest that they can cause harm is both ludicrous and despicable.

Ocasio-Cortez gave a sanctimonious sermon:

“Police in this country have always been a threat to our citizens. They are too powerful and power corrupts. They think they’re above the law and elected officials do nothing to hold them accountable.

Did you know that last year police in Chicago killed more people than gangs? Everyone keeps pointing out the homicide rate there but they fail to mention that the so-called criminals aren’t doing the killing! It’s. All. Pigs.

Americans will never be truly safe until they are eliminated.

Plus, we can pour all the money we’d save into welfare and food stamps. Win-win.”

She has really gone off the deep end this time. Now she wants the lunatics to run our beautiful country.
