After Shootings, Wal-Mart To Pull All Images Of Trump From Stores

WHAT DOES ONE HAVE TO DO WITH THE OTHER?

After the recent spate of mass shootings, the issue of gun control and culpability related to President Trump’s creation of an overwhelming atmosphere of hate and xenophobia is again in the forefront of the body politic.  After incidents began occurring in big box retailer Wal-Mart, the company has seen fit to remove images of the President completely from all locations.

Although the good side is that Wal-Mart views this as a great opportunity to empty a few warehouses of “Men in Black - International” crap.

The policy will not only affect merchandise with the President’s name, image, or likeness on it, but also the familiar red MAGA caps worn by customers or staff.  They will be asked to remove and stow any such clothing out of sight.  Management offices, normally adorned with a portrait of the current Commander In Chief, will be reorganized around a replacement photo of Wal-Mart founder Johnathan “John-Boy” Walton.

A lot of people are unaware Walton invented the Wal-Mart vest while incompetently milking cows.

Is the corporation placing the blame in the wrong place, or going too far over to the side of liberal political correctness? We’ll just have to wait and see if the policy affects their bottom line.  In the meantime, thank God, they still sell guns.  Despite the satirical article to the contrary that I wrote yesterday.
