Liberals are always insulting our armed forces and the heroic jobs they perform. They call our soldiers “murderers” and “baby killers”. They call their work a crime.
One of those libs picked the wrong time to hate on our heroes. Upon their return from Syria, one group of marines was confronted by a democrat mob in the airport, one of whom asked,”How does it feel to a cold blooded killer of women and children?”
What the protester didn’t know was that President Trump was on hand to greet the soldiers on their return. He turned, pointed at the protester, and let him have it:
“We live in a world that has conflict and those conflicts have to be seen to by men with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You? They have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know, that deaths, while tragic, probably save lives. And their existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives! You hate them , because deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want them there. You need them out there. They use words like “honor”, “code”, “loyalty”. They use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that they provide, and then questions the manner in which they provide it! I would rather you just said “thank you”, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand a post. Either way, I don’t give a damn!”
This is one of the leaders of our boys. He knows the truth. With any luck, that weepy liberal learned a thing or two…..though that’s doubtful.
