In America, we have traditions that stretch back centuries. We have ways of doing things and moments to celebrate that reflect those traditions and are relevant to our own culture.
Most patriotic citizens rightly feel that newcomers should have to assimilate to our established way of life. Many special interests, of course, feel differently. They want America to adjust to their whims and their culture. Ilhan Rashida and Omar Tlaib are two such special interests.
The two Democrats have issued a new demand upon government. They want a new national holiday to be named for “Praise of Kamehameha.” So adamant are they that this be done, that they’re threatening to bring forth dozens of new articles of impeachment if they don’t get their way.
Rashida Omar explained what it’s all about and why we should accommodate it:
“Kamehameha was a warrior. A true king. He took on all of the European devils and won. His birth was announced to the world in the night sky with the appearance of a fiery bird with flaming wings. He had the strength of the God he is, moving the Naha Stone with ease - something no mere mortal could do. He was a messenger of Alaha.
Kalani Paiʻea Wohi o Kaleikini Kealiʻikui Kamehameha o ʻIolani i Kaiwikapu kauʻi Ka Liholiho Kūnuiākea was a warrior god who had no equal. Americans should recognize his majesty and bow before him. For citizens of this country to join in the worship is for their own benefit. Doing so will save their souls.”
No, no, no, NO, NO! We will not worship the false gods here! This is America. Here there is only Jesus Christ.
