No sooner had they finished with their charade of an impeachment inquiry into President Trump, that they’ve set their sights on their new target - the next in the line of succession, Vice-President Pence. What the charges will be is anyone’s guess but, whatever they are, you can be sure they won’t be legitimate.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi filed the necessary T4 form at the Congressional Office of the Magistrate General today, doing so by the deadline point that will enable the House of Representatives to begin their Pence Proceedings in the first full week of the new year. This seemed to be important to Pelosi. As she put it:
“Trump’s successful impeachment is a nice Christmas present to America. Pence’s will be our wonderful gift to start the new year off right! You’re welcome America!
But seriously folks, Pence’s boss already threw him under the bus. We’ve got him. He was in it up to his neck. You know it. I know it. But only we will admit it.
Why would we let this one go? Just because he was the subordinate? I don’t think so. No one is above the law.
And before you ask, yes, I am fully prepared to take over the duties of The Oval Office. In fact, I’ve already started making preparations for the move. I expect to be entering the White House by spring of 2020.”
And that, folks, is Nancy Pelosi’s endgame - to a be the President of the United States of America…and the first female president to boot. But Trump and Pence will not be removed. She’s out of luck.
